It's Always A Great Day at Hammond School Kindergarten

Our tongues are loose with Dr. Seuss this week as we acknowledge his birthday. We will spend the days ahead celebrating his whimsical style of writing and the use of "nonsense" words.

Remember: "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."

Me On The Map-    Oh, the Places We Will Go!................

In the weeks ahead, the kindergarteners will be busy exploring where we are on the map. We invite you to participate in a classroom project by sharing with us where your child has been on the map.

We will be locating the following information:
Where was your child born?
Has your child lived in other states or countries?
Has your child visited other states or countries?
Please fill out the questionnaire included in the Tuesday envelope to help us get started with our special project. Thank you in advance!

STOP HUNGER NOW!

Last day for the Quarter Wars is tomorrow!!  Please be sure to have your child bring in any donation so that we can pack as many meals as possible on Thursday.  Remember, each quarter is a nutritious meal for someone in need.
