Let The Countdown Begin!

We are excited about our end of the year party at

Old Woodlands park next Wednesday, May 25 at 10:30.

Lunch will be provided for each student.

We would love to have any parents join us, but we ask that you please make arrangements for any siblings so that our kindergarteners can enjoy all of the fun together.

Classroom Materials Needed

It's that time of year when all classroom materials must be counted for inventory lists. It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is approaching. So we need your help in locating various items. Please search your homes and your cars for the following materials and send them to your homeroom teacher as soon as possible.
  • All yellow word cards. Please put the cards in alphabetical order before returning!

  • Blue and Purple sight words are for you to keep. They do not need to be returned.

  • Book buddy Books

  • Library Books

  • any other classroom materials you may have borrowed

It's Always a Great Day at Hammond School Kindergarten

Our tongues are loose with Dr. Seuss with all of the fun we've had this week as we have celebrated his birthday. We enjoyed spending the days celebrating his whimsical style of writing and the use of "nonsense" words.

Remember: "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."
