It's Always a Great Day at Hammond School Kindergarten

Our tongues are loose with Dr. Seuss with all of the fun we've had this week as we have celebrated his birthday. We enjoyed spending the days celebrating his whimsical style of writing and the use of "nonsense" words.

Remember: "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."

Me On The Map-    Oh, the Places We Will Go!................

In the weeks ahead, the kindergarteners will be busy exploring where we are on the map. We invite you to participate in a classroom project by sharing with us where your child has been on the map.

We will be locating the following information:
Where was your child born?
Has your child lived in other states or countries?
Has your child visited other states or countries?
Please fill out the questionnaire included in the Tuesday envelope to help us get started with our special project. Thank you in advance!

Egg Hunt Next Friday, March 18th!

Our Spring Egg Hunt is scheduled for next Friday, March 18th. Please send in 12 plastic eggs filled with small treats such as stickers, small toys, etc. Please tape the eggs shut. We will need these at school by next Thursday, March 17th. The children are busy making their bags so there is not need to send a basket for the hunt.

You will also not have to pack a lunch on Friday because we will all enjoy a picnic lunch with Chic-fil-A nuggets and other yummy sides.
